ARTIST STATEMENT
My realism-based paintings and drawings explore the quiet presence of faith and legacy in everyday life. Working with watercolor, pen, gouache, and charcoal, I focus on ordinary places and objects, inviting closer reflection on what endures.
My approach combines subdued color palettes and fine detail—reminiscent of old-world illustration—with precise line work and deliberate white space influenced by contemporary design. Through careful composition and restraint, each piece reveals layered stories shaped by time, use, and memory.
As the granddaughter of a watercolor artist and a woman rooted in faith, my work reflects both physical and spiritual inheritance. These familiar forms become visual records of lived spaces and treasured objects, carrying meaning forward as subtle symbols of legacy.
