ARTIST STATEMENT
My realism paintings and drawings explore the quiet presence faith and legacy in everyday life. Through watercolor, pen, gouache, and charcoal, I capture the beauty of ordinary places and objects, inviting deeper reflection on their significance.
I blend subdued color palettes and fine detail—reminiscent of old-world illustrations—with precise line work and white space, influenced by contemporary design. My work unfolds multiple layers of meaning, revealing narratives that span both past and present. This meticulous attention to detail encourages viewers to lean in and discover the intricacies that breathe new life into the familiar.
As the granddaughter of a watercolor artist and a woman grounded in faith, my work reflects the essence of legacy—both physical and spiritual. My distinctive style visually narrates the stories of ordinary places and objects—timeless treasures that embody faith, preserve memories, and serve as heirlooms passed down through generations.
