From My Little Corner of the world
My hope in (finally ahh) creating the Studio B blog is to share with you what I've learned so far as a small business owner, resources and tips to help you in your entrepreneurial journey, behind the scenes of my life, and (most importantly) my faith that drives it all.
The Who Behind it All
I'm just a girl named Tyler (I promise it's not Taylor) and the owner, graphic designer, and artist behind this one-woman creative biz. I was born and raised on the southern coast of Maine, attended college in Arkansas for graphic design, and currently live in Tennessee with my husband, Adam (his home state), and studio pup, Gizmo.
In 2015, I transitioned out of being an in-house graphic designer to begin my journey as a creative small business owner and opened Studio B.
My passion for modern graphic design elements and timeless master artworks has shaped what Studio B is today, and greatly influences the work I create for my clients (or just for fun) as well.
The Why Behind it All
Well, friends, I honestly wasn't too sure about starting a blog for a while. I think I convinced myself that I didn't have anything to say or that it wasn't needed. There's so much out there, yeah know?
But, the more I thought about it the more I realized that saying "you don't know what you don't know" to be so true and why not share the fails, triumphs, and in-betweens of business and life with you.
I hope I can help you, even in a small way, by sharing the things I've learned along the way in graphic design, art, business, and life in general.
